We’re a boutique retail store, built around an experience – gin tastings drawn from an extensive range of award-winning Greytown Distilling Company gins. The gin tasting happens with our compliments, and is available every day the store is open.

It’s not a promotion. It's just how we think premium gin should be purchased.

We’ll give you a tasting size pour in our special tasting glasses, explain the story behind the gin and match it with the perfect mixer so you can be refreshed, exhilarated or relaxed by some of the most recognised artisanal gins in New Zealand.

So we made a classically dry gin especially for Cantabrians.

Rainshadow is a classic London Dry at 42%, with juniper, dried kawakawa leaves and lemon verbena. Over ice with tonic through a Canterbury summer, or stirred into a martini before dinner at any time of year. No novelty botanicals. Nothing that'll feel dated in five years. Classically Canterbury.

You'll only find it in Merivale. Not online, nor anywhere else in the country.

Adam Blackwell's agency has run out of Wellington and Christchurch for thirty years.

Millie Blackwell studied here and spent her university years in Lyttelton, Sumner and the central city.
